Terms of conditions

1. Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed once the client receives written confirmation. A non‑refundable retainer may be required to secure the date, depending on the type of session. All remaining fees must be paid no later than the session date unless otherwise agreed. Transportation and accommodation costs may be added when relevant, as commonly practiced by Danish photographers.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made in writing. Retainers are non‑refundable.
If the client cancels the session, any prepaid fees are not refunded. Rescheduling may be possible depending on availability.

Cancellation is free up to 1 month before. After that: 50% (2 weeks), 75% (1 week), 100% for no‑show.

3. Photographer’s Responsibilities
The photographer will deliver the agreed service with professional care and artistic judgment. Image style, color grading, and selection follow the photographer’s artistic approach, which is considered part of the service.

4. Delivery of Images
A preview selection may be delivered shortly after the session, with the full gallery delivered within the agreed timeframe of two weeks. Delivery times may vary depending on the scope of the assignment.

Final images are delivered digitally. Raw files are not provided.

5. Copyright & Usage Rights
The photographer retains full copyright to all images created during the assignment, worldwide and indefinitely.

The client receives a personal, non‑commercial license to use the delivered images for private use, including printing and sharing on personal social media. Images may not be altered, sold, or used commercially without written permission.

6. Photographer’s Portfolio Use
The photographer may use images for portfolio, website, and social media unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

7. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate information, arriving on time, and ensuring that all participants behave respectfully. Delays caused by the client may reduce the available shooting time.

8. Liability
The photographer is not liable for indirect losses, such as lost income or emotional damages, which aligns with general photography contract norms .

If the photographer cannot attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, all reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule or provide a qualified replacement.

9. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond their control, such as illness, accidents, extreme weather, or technical failure.

10. Privacy
Personal data is handled in accordance with GDPR and Danish privacy regulations.
